TUMOR BIOPSY?

I have a large fibroid (11cm x 11cm) that is on a stalk. It is thought to possibly be sarcoma. The tumor can be esily felt and seen rasing the abdomen. It seems very acessable. My 3 questions is are?....#1 Can they do a biopsy of the either fibroid or sarcoma(which ever it turns out to be) without doing a hysterectomy? The mri and US indicate it to be a fibroid but the rapid growth makes it suspicious of sarcoma. #2 Also, couldnt they tell on the US or Mri whether it was necrosed in the center. #3 Would that indicate it to be a fibroid if it was necrosed or do sarcomas necrose also? It is a hard feeling tumor. Thanks for any help.
