Bladder pain?

Hi,

Every once in a while, I experience bladder pain (post urination) and urinary frequency. I'm not talking about pain WHILE urinating. There is NO pain while urinating, thus, I don't think it's a bladder infection.

What I experience is pain, in the bladder, after urination. After urinating, I'm very aware of discomfort in the bladder (again, no pain while urinating). It's just very uncomfortable. On these days, I also have frequency. This usually goes away in a day or two. I'm then fine for a while.

This doesn't happen all too often but often enough (at least once a month) that I'm curious as to what it could be. Since it goes away, it can't be serious, right?

Thanks Caitlyn
