vaginal cuff infection/frequent urinationFrom: kathi (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 31 May 2003 11:20:33 -0400
Hi I had a lavh/bso 1 month ago. For the last 3+ weeks I've had frequent urination problems, going around 20 times a day. I have been on metragel, (3 different times at 5 days) auguementen, (10 days)and cipro. And am currently on cipro.(a 2 week supply) I had an ivp and it showed that my bladder is not empty completly when finished. There is constant pain in my lower back. Within the last 24 hours, I only have control over my bladder around 50% of the time. I am scheduled with an urologist next week. Could the vaginal cuff infection be causing the bladder problems?? How long before the antibiotics take effect? Should I call my dr. and let her know of the change in bladder control problems? I am on the climara patch also.(0.1) I was told that I had numerous adhesions from my tubal ligation back in 1979. What could be causing all of these problems, my dr. has never heard of problems like this. HELP
