I am 39 and have had 2 OBGYNs and a dermatologist visually diagnose lichen sclerosis for approx 8 years (after first child was born). My OBGYN had me push at 8cm dilation...(then I had an emergency c-section. Could that have damaged the area and caused this problem? Testosterone, clobesol, and estrogen based creams do nothing to help in my case. I get tears in the opening of the vulva duing intercourse. What is the correct doseage for the clobesol? Does light therapy work and if so where do I locate a practioner? Any help would be appreciated as I feel like I am out of options!
