Previous message: ali: "abdominal pain / odd discharge" I am just 42 and my periods have been very irregular. For instance, I am now 7 weeks late. I am not pregnant, I had a tubaligation done 22 years ago when I was just 20. I went to my doctor and she recommends a sonogram to make sure it is not a cyst and a FSH test. I have had some cramping, but litte pain. I do not exhibit any other pre-men symtons that I have read about. I know I will find out one way or the other in just a few weeks, but I am so bothered by this. Is it rare for someone my age to already be pre-menopausal?
