Unusual Colposcopy

Hello,

I just had a colposcopy yesterday due to an abnormal pap smear. My Dr said that my cervix appeared to have what looked like scar tissue all over it. He said it was difficult to get a biopsy because the "tool" kept bouncing off. He also indicated that it looked like I had a healed incision on it.

He questioned me no less than 4 times as to whether I had ever had surgery on my cervix or was traumatized by a sharp implement. i know the results of the biopsies will be her next week. But this has seriously concerned me, especially the "Incision-like" scar. I recently had an ectopic pregnancy, which began with a D&C. Is it possible that my cervix was cut during that? Or are there any other possiblities that I should think of or talk to my doctor about?

Any assistance would be tremendously appreciated.

Thank You
