LPDFrom: 'looper2' (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 30 May 2003 11:35:26 -0500 (CDT)
Hello. I have read that it is considered a "Luteal Phase Defect" to have spotting during the LP prior to 10 days of high temps (above cover line)... I have internal spotting from 6DPO to 9DPO. The spotting increases gradually to full menses (CD1 at 14DPO) Therefore; my LP is a healthy/ normal length (12 days) however, the spotting occurs well before I have 10 days of high temps... My question(S): If I don't count the "internal" spotting days, it works out to be APPROX. 10 days of high temps without any spotting... 1) Are "internal" spotting days considered when determining/diagnosing LPD? 2) Are there any holistic/ herbal/ vitamin remedies that I could try prior to going to a physician? I don't want to have to go through a lot of testing if I can possibly do something for myself. My fertility chart can be viewed at: http://www.babymed.com/bbt_link.asp?GID=8BE2A9 Sorry to be so long winded. Thank you so much for any insight...
