Ovulation does not cause your entire lower-left side of the abdominal cavity ache for several days. You should see a dr to know if this is an ovarian or an intestinal problem.

I was wondering if you can answer a few questions about menstration pain for me: 1.can ovulation cause your entire lower-left side of the abdominal cavity ache for several days? There is intense pressure and is extremely painful when compressed. Also, it only happens once in a while on the left side. Is this normal? 2.Can menstration screw up the intestinal cyle of "defecation" If so, what can be done about this?

Basically, what it boils down to, I am unsure if the pain I am having in my abdominal cavity is ovulatory or intestinal.
