Asherman's Syndrome

I have just recently been diagnosed (through HSG) with a very mild case of Asherman's Syndrome. The adhesions are located in the top corners only and are covering one or both tubal openings. But the rest of the lining is normal and grows to a good thickness. There are no adhesions in any other parts of the uterus. My RE has recommended surgery on past visits, but told me today that since any pregnancy that may result from an IVF shouldn't implant in the top corners anyway. Can the existence of Asherman's as described cause any detriment if a pregnancy doesn't implant in that area? Are there risks of problems should a pregnancy result from an IVF?

Thanks, Alice
