Low urine pressure.From: May (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 29 May 2003 16:36:30 -0500 (CDT)
I began to notice this problem when I was in my early teens. I am a 25 year old female and with a strange problem, almost no urinary pressure and it is not a single stream. The best way to describe it like pouring water out of a coffee mug, it runs down and back too. (Sorry gross). Usually when I feel the urge to go, I go to the bathroom and let gravity do the work. Of some significance could be that I have had frequent uti since I was 13 years. A few years back I was given a huge dose of antibiotics to get rid of the infection. The episodes were also triggered by intercourse, not always but many times. I have not had many episodes since the antibiotic treatment. It could be that the aggravation worked or that my personal situation has changed (no regular intercourse) The urologist also did some kind of an anatomy study where they observed my bladder. I have some auto-immune problems and possibly problems with my adrenal glands. Should I be worried ? We are also trying to get pregnant now will that cause any problems with maintaining the pregnancy or delivering ? I figure something down there is weak, so I may not be able to push etc
