Daniel Braun, MD: "Re: way depressed" Reply: Amy: "Re: way depressed" Well as i said earlier my new birth control (the patch) has made me so incredibly depressed. each day is getting worse and i dont feel like myself. i have an appt Thursday morning to talk to my doc. I was on Ortho-Tri-Cyclen for over a year but within that time my doc has put me on Loestrogen and Orthro-Cyclen. But i always wanted to go back to Othro-Tri even though that sometimes makes me depressed. i am just really confused. what type of birth control is available that does not increase depression. because even though i am sexually active i dont want to feel like this emotionally and i really dont know what to do. is it normal to feel depressed when you switch? and what are you supposed to do? i feel stupid for switching all the time but i thought i was helping myself but not taking the pill every night. ...anybody know what i should do?
