recovery...removed two cysts & 1 fallopian

Three weeks ago I had emergency surgery, first a laparoscopy then my Dr. had to cut me open because my ruptured 9 mm cyst on R ovary had twisted and cut off blood supply to the fallopian tube, it was dead and had to be removed...as well as blood clots and scarring (cysts causes that?) I also had a 9mm cyst that was removed from my l ovary, Dr. said I had double ovulated last month, they were both ovulation cysts. I had taken the pill for two and a half months then stopped it aprox. 4 weeks prior to my surgery...Dr said my hormones had "gone wild". I am now on the pill to keep from ovulating. (If I go off the pill, am I going to end up on the table again??? Yikes) I am very healthy and active 40 year old, used to work out and socialize alot but this surgery has stopped all that, for now. I started taking 45 min walks a few days ago, my guts felt really disturbed but that is going away, walking feels good. I forgot to ask my Dr a few questions at my one week post op vist, won't see her for a few more weeks. Is three weeks enough time to start intercourse again? My stiches are out and I feel a little sore around the incision, is it enough time for my insides to heal enough? Also since they cut through my ab muscles - when can I start doing core excercise again? I love Pilates and Yoga and used to have six pack abs, I miss my excercise! Thanks.
