about 4 weeks ago I noticed a pea sized lump in between my inner and outer labia on one side. it was accompanied by and irritated and itchy vulvar area. it went away after about 1 1/2 or 2 weeks. i talked to my doc just as it was about gone and she said it sounds like it could be herpes (my boyfriend does have herpes) due to the irritaion, redness and itchiness. she said not all herpes cases pose "blisters", they can appear in a variety of lumps and bumps. its been about two weeks now since it went away. okay, now, after having sex with my boyfriend (immediately after), i noticed some pain in that area and when i looked there was a lump about three times the original pea sized lump in just about the same spot. its really swollen and has a little bit of pain (irriation). did i "burst" something? i seemed fine until the intercourse and then it seemed like something ruptured and this thing formed. (its under the skin, fyi). i'm really confused now. could this be one of those bartholyn cyst things? (i'm not asking for a definate diagnosis, just a possiblity). it just seems weird that i seemed fine and the sex seemed to cause this thing to form or fill up or whatever it did. HELP. i need some suggestions or possibilities. thanks!!! HURRY!!!
