>Joy, I'm not a doctor, but I don't think the answer below implies the vagus nerve involvment necessarily means it's due to fibroids. Vagus nerve issues have all sorts of causes. If it happens once, you probably don't need an exam, but repeated episodes should be investigated. For me, being somewhat dehydrated 9and not aware of it) has triggered it.
