13 day 'period?' or is it? This month, I had some spotting about 2 weeks into my cycle. Right after that, I felt very very tired and had cramps for 2 weeks straight. My period was a couple of days late, and started out spotty. In addition, my cramps were more painful than usual - for these 2 days. After that, the heavy flow started, and has continued for a total of 13 days (and counting?). My doctor took a blood test and will get the results tomorrow. When he examined me he said it doesn't seem like I still have a period and should expect it the bleeding to be done. That was 3 days ago. Should I go to the emergency room and ask for an ultrasound? Or wait till tomorrow? Is there any chance that I might be pregnant or have miscarried?
