borderline ovarian cancer - surgery only treatment?

Hi,

My 37-year old sis had a full hysterectomy last week and the pathology just came back yesterday and it is borderline ovarian cancer. It was on both ovaries, peliv wall, and she had an AGUS pap and a CA-125 of 86.

The Dr. is recommending no further treatment, just ultrasound monitoring every 6 months. Is this what you would recommend as well? My friend who works for the state health department said they are starting to treat borderline cases with chemo and radiation.

Thank you so very much!
