pedunculated fibroid

6 months ago i was diagnosed with a pedunculated fibroid showing on my right side, through ultrasound and mri and radiologist manupulation to separate from ovary and uterus...it stayed with the uterus when proded. i moved and my new dr says he felt the mass on the left side. as this is on a stalk is it possible to have moved in the pelvic cavity? i also had a little pain on his exam, not previously noted. also why would this be growing or be noticed now after menopause at a time when it should be shrinking?

thanks so much for your prompt reply.
