I am 27 and in Oct 2002 I had a miscarriage and a D&C. Until my miscarriage I had never had problems or irregular periods. Ever since I have been having brown discharges that were irregular. I have been put on birth control and then I have had hystroscopy, laposcopy and a D&C in March 2002. During this time I was treated for some some endomet., two uterian polyps were removed and some asherman's syndrome. After my surgery I was put on Vivelle (estrogen for two months) and then the last two weeks of that time I was put on progesterine. During those two months I had two regular periods. Even after the hormonal theorpy I have just come off of it - and now I am back to having pains in my lower right side and having a brown stringy discharge again. I have been working with my doctor but I think we are both stumped - but can anyone who has had this problem before tell me what it was and how it was treated or if this was anything serious. Are there any tests that I should be asking for to help them figure out what is wrong? Should I worry about ovarian cancer? Thank you in advance for any information that you could possibly provide.
