I have searched the archives and not found an answer. I have been diagnosed with fiboids and am having a myoectomy (sp?) in about 3 weeks. A week ago my drs office called and said to get on iron pills immediately 325 mg a day twice a day. When I asked why, she said it's just "because of the surgery". Can you tell me why? I know they're for anemia, but I am currently on lupron, so I haven't had a period for a couple of weeks. I've only been having "lupron symptoms" not any anemic symptoms. Could you just tell me why they hurriedly asked me to take these?
