2 years post hyst bleeding?From: anonymous@obgyn.netWed, 14 May 2003 22:31:06 -0500 (CDT)
I had a hysterectomy 2 years ago. CT scan report that said there was a mass highly suspicious for malignancy. Dr felt certain it was adenomyosis, said she was surprised because uterus was much smaller than she expected from what she'd read in the report, though there were several pockets of adenomyosis... and endometriosis on pockets of diverticulosis on bowels, which were left with ovaries (starting to wonder what else ends in "osis" that I could possibly get!!! <g>) Still having some bleeding 2 years later. I'm also really bloated, getting extremely fatigued, notice really bad cramping when I have the bleeding and now am having bleeding in my stools. Had appt with ob/gyn dept head almost a year ago and she went through all my records...she sent me off base to have an ultrasound done and mentioned possible endometriomas in surgery report that she wanted to have checked out, because no biopsy was done. Only regular ultrasound was ordered, but after trouble finding one of the ovaries, they apologized, because it had been painful...but said they'd have to also do a transvaginal. Neither one found the ovary. Tech that checked me in said that the ob/gyn head had noted in my records that the ultrasound was inconclusive and a ct scan should be done...unfortunately, the ob/gyn is gone (I hardly ever see the same person twice) and no one seems concerned. I had an extremely sharp pain in my left breast last week and bp high at appt (160/98)...but instead of checking heart/lung....they've ordered a mammogram? I appreciate any advice at all...thanks!
