The previous poster was correct that it can kill the bacteria in your digestive tract, but I would go to either the ER or your GP because my mom developed an infection from the bacteria being killed off. I would tell them I want to be tested for "C. Diff."...it's the abreviation for the infection. I work in a nursing home and a lot of the residents get that infection because of antibiotics...the main symptom is excessive diarhea. Hope you can get it taken care of soon. Drink lots of fluids to make sure you don't get dehydrated! :)
