Next in thread: Marisa Geller MD: "Re: How long does it take for prolactin levels to come down with medication" Maybe reply: Marisa Geller MD: "Re: How long does it take for prolactin levels to come down with medication" hi My periods were being delayed and my prolactin levels were 57.1 and after checking my MRI reports there was a microadenoma but since the lesion was very minute the doctor prescribed a Cabergoline tablet called Caberlin 0.5 mg to be taken twice a week to bring down the prolactin levels she has also advised me not to try and concieve while I'm on this tablet and to get back to her when my next period comes. How long does it normally take for my prolactin levels to come down and is it unsafe to concieve while I'm on this medication.
