[Birth Control] FYI: Clarification about missing pills

Lots of people have been posting about missing a pill by a day and then missing one by an hour, and whether the combination of those two things is riskier than just missing the one pill.

It's not.

Reasoning: If you've only "missed" the pill by an hour, you haven't actually missed it. You took it within the time necessary, so that day is just like any other day of taking it.

The only day you have to be concerned about is one that you've missed by more than a few hours, depending on what level of hormone your pill is (your doctor probably told you to be EXTRA careful if you're taking one with a lower level). At those times, follow the instructions provided.

Also, make note of what was going on when you missed your pill, and maybe reevaluate the time you plan to take it and how to remember.

Hope this helps!

Anyone have anything to add?
