Re: 2 pills late-a problem?

Depends on what you're taking.. Lower hormone pills are less forgiving (ie, Alesse). On the less forgiving, it should be no more than a couple of hours off, but the others are longer (you should check some sites online about it).

Reason being, the hormones are only good for ~24 hours.. that's it. They don't stick around.

BUT that also means that even if you miss it by an hour every day, you're still within the limits of a couple of hours (or the longer time for the higher hormone pills). You're protected as long as it's in there, even though it isn't very long.

So if you're on a low hormone pill the 4 hours could be a problem, but if you're late within a couple of hours more than once you're still protected.

HOWEVER, you need to evaluate why you were late those days, and see if you can find a better time to take them or way to remember. You don't want to get into the habit of being late and then forget completely!

Hope this helps!
