irregular bleeding for a year now..

I have been having irregular bleeding problems for a year now,I was diagnosed with fibroids one year ago,at the time I was on Orth-tricyclen and was having heavy periods for 2 weeks at a time.My doctor put me on Ovcon35 to see if that would help,it didn't and I ended up having surgery last September to remove the offending fibroids. After the surgery I still continued to bleed only now it was constant,I became severely anemic and started a 3 month course of Lupron to stop the bleeding.I got my period in March and ended up in the ER with very heavy bleeding and passing tissue. They gave me estrogen which didn't stop it but slowed it down. When I saw my doctor 2 days later he put me on Yasmin, and it eventually stopped.I started spotting on the second pack and in the third week had very heavy bleeding that week and the week of my period. I started my third pack Wednesday and have continued having a heavy period and I still pass clots.I talked to my doctor's nurse and she said to finish the third pack and if it continues to come in for an exam.I have had biopsy's done, pap smears, blood work and everything is normal. Why am I still bleeding?I'm 39 years old and don't want anymore kids but don't want a hysterectomy either. What should I do?
