Stomach pain-dr.response only please

What would you say to your patient if she had a stabbing pain that comes and goes several times a week-located right under the sternum where the upper stomach is? The pain is not enough to double over or cry about, however when this happens, it has my attention. I know I'm under stress teaching, but tell me someone who doesn't have it. The only RX I am taking is thyroid and zoloft daily. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you. kc
