Liver/Cyst/??? Previous message: Jessica Bardales MD: "Re: BC choices for treating spotting" I am a 28 year old female. In December 2002, I was diagnosed with a cyst on my ovaries. I went to the doctor because of severe abdominal pain. The OBGYN told me not to worry about the cyst. It was not large and should not cause that much pain. My white blood count was elevated at the time and they did a CT Scan to rule out appendicitis. I went to gastroenterologist and he told me that it was not a gastro problem and to come back if I got worse. Well, I still suffer with abdominal pain to this day. I have found out throught blood work that my liver enzyme is up - he said it was due to fat on my liver. Also, I found out the iron level in my body is very low. I have been throught a CT Scan, xrays, and a small bowel study. Everything was negative. Do you have any suggestions? Thank You Next message: Leah: "Re: How Many Placebos until Period?"
