Lower urinary tract infection comes about from it's invasion by pathogens, most commonly from the digestive tract, since anatomically the two structures aare pretty close together. The only way of knowing which particular germ is the casue of all this trouble is to have a urine culture done. Often times this has to be repeated in order to detect the unwanted germ and apply the right antibiotic treatment. HPV, the virus responsible for genital condyloma does not have predilection for the urinary tract. Other possible causes for your recurrent UTI could be stones in the urinary bladder. I agree with your Gyne's suggestion for the cystoscopy.
