You don't want to drink cranberry juice if on a sulfa antibiotic (Bactrim, etc). That will reverse the good of the drug.

my endo pain returned about 6 weeks after my lap. however, the only way i really knew was the fact that intercourse was really painful again. it had been great after the lap, then got worse and worse in a few weeks.

if the meds don't clear up the bladder infection, get a culture done. they can decide what kind of bacteria is causing the infection and can test it to see which antibiotics work to treat it. i had blood in my urine last month, they did a dipstick test and gave me antibiotics. after a week, it was no better, so they did a culture and gave me a different antibiotic. it got better.

also, if you are drinking cranberry juice to help prevent another infection, drink as much water as cranberry juice. cranberry juice can cause bladder cramps. really sucky.
