I had interstitial cystitis which went undiagnosed for many years. In the literature I read which was extensive, being on large doses of antibiotics is definitely linked to IC. I was finally diagnosed with IC through a bladder biopsy. I was put on DMSO injected directly into the bladder (the liquid form). That helped me tremendously. The relief was immediate.

The best thing for you to do is to see a really good urologist who specializes in interstitial cystitis.

Best to you,

Susan
