[Birth Control] Early Period while on Birth Control PillFrom: Mary (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 29 Apr 2003 19:42:35 -0500 (CDT)
I have been on the pill (Othrotricylcen) for about 6 months now. My period has always come on time, usually the 2nd or 3rd day during the 'reminder pills'. However, I began lightly spotting and now I must use a light-day pad. I'm wondering if this is irregular? My period is a week and a half away and this is something that has not occured before which is why I am a little concerned. I am really good about taking my pills on time, usually no more than half an hour apart. If this is my period, I was wondering if I should stop taking the pills and start a new pack this sunday? Or if I should finish this pack and continue my usual routine? Any help or suggestions would greatly be appreciated! Thank You! Sincerely, Mary
