My period was five days late this month. when I finally got it it was dark brown in color and very light. Then, I did not have it for two days. I went and bought a pregnancy test. When I got home to take it, I notied I had started again, but once more it was very light and dark brown in color. I took the test anyway because I have heard that sometimes when you are pregant you will get a period similar to this when you are due. The test results where negative. Could I still be pregnant and the results where wrong because I have some "left over" bleeding mixed with the urine? If this is not the case, what could be wrong. My period has not gotten normal yet. Usually I go through any tampons/pads in a day on the first few days. Today I had a tampon in most of the day and there was still very little on it and it was brown, almost like my period is over. Please help. Thank you so much for your time.
