I'm 18 years old and for about the last 6 months I have had major problems with my periods. When I'm on my period it last for about 15 days and then stops, then it comes again in about two weeks. It is heavy for about 5 of these days and moderate the rest of the time. My question is, what could be some of the causes of this and is there anything they can do for it? I can't take any hormones cause of a vascular disorder I was born with so that rules out birth control pills. I am getting so tired of this. My whole life is periods. I am scheduled for a transvaginal ultrasound it 2 weeks so maybe that will show something. Any info would be greatly appreciated. I really want to ge this resolved. Thanks in advance for the info.
