Kelsie, I think that some religions say it is a sin to use the pill as birth control. That is not the reason you would be using the pill in this case. You would be using the pill as a medicinal therapy with the intention of getting off of the pill when your periods are regulated. Maybe you could discuss this with your priest to get his view on it, you may be surprised by the answer. Good Luck!
