Your doctor saw the cyst in the left ovary, so he removed it, and that
is fine. But may be that lead to some kind of hematoma. If that is the
case it will resolve spontaneously in one or two weeks. You should
control it with ultrasound before thinking of removal of ovary. And
consult the surgeon.

>Four weeks ago I had supracervical hyst with removal of right ovary, which showed endo. During surgery, surgeon removed ruptured cyst on left ovary but did not remove left ovary. Since the surgery, I've experienced enormous pain in left ovary area. Ultrasound done last week shows either hemorrhagic cyst or endo on that left ovary.

>My questions are these: could a hemorrhagic cyst have formed as a result of removing the ruptured cyst on that left ovary? If endo on left ovary, wouldn't it have been seen by the surgeon? Ultrasound shows left ovary enlarged at 4.7 cm, and cyst at 3.6 cm, so should I be worried about cancer? Since the pain is so enormous, should I consider having left ovary removed?
