38-40 day cycle length normal for 23yo?

Hi,

I'm 23 years old, healthy. Ever since February until now of this year, my cycle length has flucuated from 38 days to 40 days, when usually it is a 28-30 day cycle. Is this normal, or does it indicate some possible problem? I have been exercising more ever since January, although it certainly cannot be labeled "strenuous." I do about 20 minutes of cardio 4 times a week. Would this long cycle length adversely affect my fertility?

Just in case you need this information, I'm 5'3" and 100 pounds.

Thank you for any input,

Amanda
