Yes it is possible to have referred pain. I learned about this from some of the women that I have talked to who have endometriosis like me. Some of them have found that even though they had a particular problem on the one side that they could have pain opposite of the actual problem area.

I would definitely recommend getting another opinion from and from another gyn.
