Pat,

Yes, this can be a sign of endo. It can happen during a period as you mentioned, and it can also happen without having a period. I've met some ladies that had this problem too and one of them said that the dr told her it was colon cancer and she only had a short time to live and it turned out only to be the endo.

When I was first starting out with endo and having to deal with GI symptoms (which actually turned out to be IBS) they wanted me to have a lower GI and a flexible sigmoidoscopy and I wasn't about to do it b/c I knew where all my pains were so I don't blame you for not wanting to go in for the colonoscopy.
