I thought I would answer because I take thyroid hormone and experience LOTS of weird things due to it. First off, with your TSH at 2.57 you are still in the range of being "normal." The only way you would lose sleep is if you were "hyperthyroid." Depending on what scale your lab uses you have to get your TSH to around .5 for those symptoms. BUT, everyone is different. I am VERY sensitive to my thyroid meds. Whenever I have a dosage change, I get many symptoms until I level out. Most notably, my sleep is affected. Once my body adjusts then I seem to do okay. Is there any reason your doctor wants your TSH lower? You are in the normal range now. I would give it some time and maybe you will get more sleep soon! Christine
