I have tried to respond twice but they do not appear on the forum. Really weird.

Anyway, for the mother concerned about her nearly 17 year old daughter who has amenorrhea, the condition is probably related to her physical activity level, but she should definitely be evaluated by a physician. She could be experiencing "primary amenorrhea." Only testing ordered and evaluated by a physician can determine that for you. For more information please visit this website:
