Brown blood and rectal bleeding during menstruationFrom: Michelle (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 9 Apr 2003 13:26:45 -0500 (CDT)
I have been on the BCP for 12 years (since 17) and went off it 4 months ago to TTC #1. My periods have been basically brown with some red blood mixed in. This is how they were on BCP. I have also had rectal bleeding (I assume). I have alwasy had this and actually thought it wasn't necessarily coming from that area, just blood b/c of my period. I don't have pain while urinating or having a bowel movement. I have been experience some discomfort in the ovary area since coming off BCP. It feels like someone is squeezing them. This happens before I ovulate and then basically disappears. I have never had cramps on BCP and only mild cramps since going off (not every month). Is it likely that I have endometriosis and if I do, will I be able to conceive? Thank you.
