Daniel Braun, MD: "Re: Mid-cyle bleeding lasting 4-5 days" I am 23 years of age and had a baby almost a year ago. Between that time, I had mid-cyle bleeding about 4 months after having him. It lasted two days. One day it was bright red and the next day it was brown. Now, 11 months after having him, I had mid cyle again, but this time it lasted 4/5 days. On day one it was bright red, and the rest of the days it was brown. I know mid-cyle bleeding w/ovulation is normal, but I just want to make sure this is normal or something to be concerned about.
