They deal exculsively with women with endo, are responsible for getting major funding for research, etc., etc.. It was started by a woman who had endo and couldn't find answers. They have a website with info on how to reach them--do a general web search for "Endometriosis Association" (sorry I can't come up with the specific address). If you can find a copy of the books at the library "Overcoming Endometriosis" and "The Endometriosis Sourcebook" are two good sources of info that they have published--if not, they sell them. They also have crisis numbers you can call for info or a shoulder and you can call them for names of physicians, etc. who have been recommended by women with endo.
