Thankyou for your reply, What I am more interested in tho, is more of an appraisal. Perhaps statisticly how many couples run into problems.

Obviously every couple that has anal sex doesn't experience fissures or hemroids. I'm aware these risks exist, but I'm more concerned of how significant the risk is. Every day we face thousands of risks which we can't let influence our lives. I still drive my car even though there is a risk of being in an accident.

My questions is, therefore, a much more difficult one in that it's inquiring about statistics of something many people wouldn't be comfortable talking about.

What is the prevelance of bodily harm resulting from anal sex in a population of carefull monogamous couples ?
