If you were very heavy when you got pregnant, then this may be perfectly normal. Baby is just using up extra stuff. As long as the doctor says things are okay and the baby seems to be acting fine, I wouldn't worry.

When I was pregnant I went from 117 lbs. to 173 lbs. I would have given anything to be in your place. I would have an ultrasound done by a radiologists, not the doctor (if you don't trust your doctor). If the ultrasound shows everything is normal, don't worry, relax. You'll need the energy for labor. Good luck and Congratulations.
