Re: 33 and periods consistently getting shorterFrom: Angel (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 5 Apr 2003 17:35:50 -0600 (CST)
I'm 33 and have 3 children from 2 pregnancies. 5 years ago my periods were always 28 days. 3 years ago my periods went to 26-27 days. Now since November my period lengths have been: 23 days, 25 days, 25 days, 24 days, 25 days and today I am on CD8 with obvious fertility signs (I chart). My leutal phase has not been shorter than 10 days and I have never had any gyn issues such as mid cycle bleeding. My bleeding has always been minimal and usually 3-4 days long. This cycle I did bleed/spot for 7 days. So what's going on here? Am I just getting older and this will be the natural progression into pre-menopause? Am I in pre menopause at 33? Do I have a hormone issue that needs to be checked out? I am on Xenical as a weight loss aid, so does that affect cycle length? Thanks for any insight.. M
