Fever, lower back pain, nausea - ovulation??

I am a 31 year old female. Two days ago, I woke up to a very nauseous stomach. As the day progressed, I still had the nausea, but also developed a fever of 100.5 and severe lower back pain. The back pain was a constant, cramping kind of pain - so severe I could not get out of bed. The fever and all other symptoms lasted only one day. I checked my menstrual cycle calendar and discovered that I was at Day 15 of my cycle. I have never had this happen before. Could the fever, nausea, and back pain be attributed to ovulation? or did I more likely have a flu of some sort? Since the symptoms have gone, I do not plan to call my doctor.

A response is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
