help with my ultrasound reportFrom: Abbey (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 2 Apr 2003 19:29:35 -0600 (CST)
My OB said to go ahead with a pregnancy attempt. I'm 32, recently diagnosed as hypothyroid and had some unexplained bleeding. Could someone help me with these results to let me know if we should try to get pregnant or do I need medication/surgery? Fibroid uterus measuring 6.5x4.6 cm in transverse diameter at the fundus. Fundal fibroid measuring 2.4 cm abuts the endometrial stripe. Endometrial stripe measures 7.8 mm. A small amount of fluid was noted within the lining. The ovaries are unremarkable. Each ovary contains multiple tiny follicles, suggesting the possibility of polycystic ovaries. Thank you!!!
