I have a friend who got pregnant twice with only one tube and one ovary. And the second pregnancy was a "surprise" (thought she was not near ovulation so she and her hubby had a little fun) and boy was it a surprise. She got twins that time! I am not a doctor, nor do I know any stats, but I know it can happen.
