Phyllis,

If you don't mind me asking, why did you have most of your ovaries removed in the first place? Since you mentioned being overweight, I wonder if you might have PCOS (polycystic ovaries)? That can cause a problem with ovulation. If you have other problems such as excessive body hair, trouble with your blood sugar levels, and trouble getting pregnant- these things might indicate this problem. I don't have PCOS and have only limited knowledge, but there are other women here who do have it and might be able to give you more information.
